Dam: Rackwood Maydew, Sire: Bishopdale Duke

Melody is a very lively pony who loves attention. She has been well handled and regularly shown. She was mouthed and backed during 2009 and regularly ridden throughout 2010. She has attended several pleasure rides and is comfortable to be ridden in company. She became a very successful broodmare during 2011. Her first foal (Amos) was 1st prize foal at his first two shows when shown with his dam and M&M Champion at his first three foal shows after weaning. He was also awarded Supreme Champion Foal at the NPS Area 4 Show at Selby in November 2011.

Melody stayed at home from 2015 and ran with my stallion, Linnel Riddler and latterly, Dalewin Victor. In the autumn of 2022, at the age of 16yrs, I advertised Melody for sale and she was very quickly bought by a gentleman in Germany. This was the same gentleman who bought her very first foal in the spring of 2012 and kept him entire to be used as a breeding stallion and a driving pony. In the spring of 2023, she produced an all black colt foal, and I am very happy knowing that she has a home for life amongst some of her own family.
